I have shut off the app, turned devices off and back on. If you are planning on changing your SSU password, the best practice is to delete the account on the device first, change the password, and then reinstall.
Last time I updated my password (a year ago), it took a while before it seems that IOS realized it needed a new pw and presented me with a message to update the pw. I know there is no setting to go into to update the password (as there is for every other app on the planet!). Problem is, IOS has not asked for PW update. I already had an app pw for IOS (I am using MS Authenticator with 2FA turned on), so I obtained a new one by following the link.
I was presented with a message that I need a new app password on IOS devices. I am using O365, Onedrive, Outlook on my laptop and IOS devices.
